The mother of Sunday Adeyemo, popular Yoruba activist, has been attacked, according to Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Aviation Minister.
Mr Fani-Kayode who made this known Sunday evening in series of Tweet described the attackers as terrorists.
He said the activist whom he spoke to on the telephone confirmed the incident which occurred at her mother’s residence in Igboho area of the state.
Mr Fani-Kayode said a suspect in a gang of three has been apprehended and handed over to the police while others took to their heels.
“Three terrorists were caught in Sunday Igbho’s mothers house and not two. One was caught and two escaped,” he said.
This is coming barely two days after the activist nabbed four men including two on military uniforms close to his Ibadan residence.
Mr Igboho who recently pronounced the pulling away of Yoruba nation from Nigeria, alleged the suspects were spies working for the federal government, a claim the Defence Headquarters has refuted.
