Peter Obi, a presidential aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has dumped the opposition party.
Mr Obi resigned from the PDP on Friday in a latter addressed to the national chairman of the party, which was received on Wednesday.
The former Anambra governor said recent events in the party which he did not elucidate necessitated his exit.
