Godwin Emefiele, the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has formally joined next year’s presidential race, ending speculations of him eyeing the top job.
Mr Emefiele announced his entrance into this race on Friday at the State House, Abuja, after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The apex bank boss who addressed State House Correspondents said he will proceed to the national secretariat of the All Progressive Congress APC) to pick the expression of interest and nomination form which cost N100million.
