Presidential aspirant and former Akwa Ibom State governor, Godswill Akpabio, has withdrawn from the presidential race.
Mr Akpabio withdrew Tuesday night while addressing delegates of the ruling party in Abuja where its special convention is ongoing.
The former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs urged his supporters to vote for Bola Tinubu, a fellow rival and former Lagos governor.
