Governor Abubakar Sani-Bello on Monday acknowledged the title of Mr Chairman which party officials of the All Progressive Congress (APC) at the national secretariat addressed him with.
Mr Bello was reported to have been penciled down as the replacement of Governor Mai Buni who heads the caretaker committee of the ruling party.
In a video clip circulating on social media, the governor acknowledged the title of Mr Chairman from officials who welcomed him.
Sharing photos of himself, the Niger State helmsman said he presided over the meeting of the Caretaker/Extra-ordinary Convention Planning Committee of the APC despite the secretary Senator John Akpanudoedehe debunking the removal of the Yobe governor who is currently outside the country for a medical check-up.
“I am currently presiding over the Caretaker/Extra-ordinary Convention Planning Committee of the APC at the National Secretariat of the Party,” he tweeted Monday afternoon.
