Uche Secondus, suspended national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has been ordered to return to his office.
A Kebbi State high court issued the order on Thursday sidelining an earlier order from a Rivers State high court barring Mr Secondus from continuing in office pending the determination of a suit brought before it.
But Justice Nusrat Umar, in Birnin Kebbi, while ruling on a suit marked KB/AC/M.170/2021 brought before her lifted the suspension and ordered the opposition party’s chief “to continue exercising all the constitutional powers of the office of Chairman of PDP.”
