The body of Rotimi Akeredolu, a former governor of Osun State, who died late last year has arrived Nigeria from Germany.
The deceased body arrived at the private wing of the Murtala Mohammed International airport in Lagos on Friday.
Mr Akeredolu died on December 27 in the foreign country where he went for a medical attention, after transmitting power to his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, who has since been sworn-in as governor.
According to close sources, he will be embalmed at a private morgue ahead of the funeral expected to be in the second week of February.
His wife, Betty Akeredolu and other family members received the body on arrival at the airport.
