Shehu Sani, former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central at the 8th Senate has joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Mr Sani joined the opposition party on Thursday, months after dumping the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), a platform he used in seeking re-election but failed to return to the red chamber.
The former member of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) joined the PRP when he was denied the party’s ticket which was given to Senator Uba Sani who enjoyed the support of Governor Nasir El-rufai during the 2019 general election.
