Olayide Adelami, a former deputy clark of the national assembly, has been sworn in as the deputy governor of Ondo state.
Mr Adelami took the oath of office on Thursday at the International Culture and Events Centre, Akure, the state capital.
The Chief Judge of the state, Justice Olusegun Odusola, administered the oath to the new deputy governor whose nomination was confirmed by the Ondo State House of Assembly last week Tuesday.
Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa who took over from his late predecessor, Rotimi Akeredolu, last December, nominated him for the position.
