The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Tuesday evening, reported the confirmation of 148 new cases of Coronavirus disease nationwide.
In the data released by the NCDC, only one patient recovered from the pandemic disease while five fresh deaths were recorded.
The new figure brings the total number of cases to 2,950 out of which 481 cases have been discharged with the death toll increasing to 98 deaths in 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The 148 new cases are reported from 17 states namely: Lagos(43), Kano(32), Katsina(9), FCT(10), Zamfara(14), Taraba(7), Borno(7), Ogun(6), Oyo(5), Bauchi(3),Edo(3), Kaduna(3), Adamawa(2), Gombe(2), Plateau(1), Sokoto(1), Kebbi(1)
Presently, 19, 512 tests have been conducted nationwide while 2, 371 are active cases as of Tuesday evening.
