The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced the confirmation of 779 fresh cases of Coronavirus disease in the country.
The figure is currently the highest daily figure recorded since the pandemic broke out in the country late February.
Also, data from the disease agency shows that 372 patients recovered from the deadly virus while 4 deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours nationwide.
The new figure brings the total number of confirmed cases to 24077 out of which 8625 have been treated and discharged while the death toll increased to 558 in 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
