Men of the newly formed Eastern Security Network (ESN) by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have been sighted bearing various types of guns.
The security outfit put together by the secessionist group led by fugitive Nnamdi Kanu was commissioned at the weekend.
According to Emma Powerful, IPOB spokesman, the aim of the group is to end the menace of violent herdsmen who are largely from the Fulani extraction.
Late Tuesday, a video surfaced online showing masked armed men dressed in black with various colors of berets strolling around bushes.
A voice of a man behind the camera said the stern looking operatives were from the Anambra State command of the ESN.
