Lawmakers fell asleep while President Muhammadu Buhari was presenting the country’s budget for next year to members of the National Assembly.
Members of the two chambers at the national assembly traditionally gather while the president reels out his administration’s plans for the country the following year.
A live video session of the presentation by Channels Television showed at least three lawmakers dozing off while Mr Buhari was addressing the house.
The president submitted a N16.39 trillion 2022 budget proposal to the joint session of the Nigerian Senate and House of Representatives for consideration on Thursday.
