Fugitive Abdulrasheed Maina, former chairperson of the Pension Reform Task Team (PRTT) has arrived Nigeria.
Mr Maina facing 12-count charges bordering on money laundering by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) jumped bail and was re-arrested in Niger Republic.
His action led to the incarceration of his surety, Senator Ali Ndume, who has now regained freedom after being granted bail by the court on compassionate ground.
The police which confirmed his re-arrest said he will be extradited back to the country soon for the continuation of his trial.
This afternoon, TheCable says the fugitive has been extradited back to the country, posting a video of his arrival through the airport.
