Traditional rulers shot dead in Imo

A yet-to-be ascertained number of traditional rulers were on Tuesday killed by unknown gunmen in Imo State.

While a report online says three of the monarchs lost their lives in the shoot out, a source in Njaba local council where the incident occurred claimed two were killed.

The deceased monarchs were reportedly in a meeting when the attackers arrived and opened fire on them, a development confirmed by the Chairman of the State’s Traditional Rulers Council, Eze Okeke, who could not give the number of casualty as at press time.
