Tinubu gets Senate’s approval to appoint 20 special advisers

The request of President Bola Tinubu to the Nigerian Senate to allow him appoint 20 special advisers has been approved.

President of the outgoing 9th Senate, Ahmad Lawan, read a letter from Mr Tinubu where the demand was contained during plenary on Tuesday.

None of the appointees were named in the letter.

The motion was moved by Senate Leader, Senator Ibrahim Gobir and seconded by Senate Minority Leader, Senator Philip Aduda.
