A suicide bomber has blown up himself in Ebonyi State after being chased away from a beer parlour.
According to Leadership Newspaper, the bomber, a middle-aged man, detenoted an explosive device Tuesday morning, after being chased away from the Eke Market in Afikpo area of the state.
“He first came into a beer parlour and when the people inquired who he was, he left,” the medium quoted a source as saying.
After being chased away, he moved to Amaizu/Amangbala primary school and attempted to enter through the gate but was stopped by the gateman who asked him to identify who he was.
While attempting explained himself, he was said to have detenoted the explosive which killed him alone, forcing residents to scamper for safety.
