Soludo joins Anambra governorship race

Chukwuma Soludo former governor of Central Bank of Nigeria has formally joined the Anambra State governorship race slated for November 6.

Mr Soludo declared his intention yesterday in Awka, the state capital, urging the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) to offer him its ticket.

While promising victory for the ruling party in the state, he said he will leverage on his connections globally to bring development to the South-Eastern state.

He praised the outgoing governor Willie Obiano, saying his administration has reduced the poverty rate in the state.

“Anambra is doing well under Obiano, and my mission is to continue and complete all the legacy projects of the governor,” the sexagenarian said.
