Atiku Abubakar, former vice president, has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to rejig the security architecture of the country.
Mr Abubakar, an opposition candidate in the last general election, gave the advise yesterday while reacting to the killing of 43 farmers in Borno State.
The massacre was reportedly carried out by members of the Boko Haram terrorist group.
Describing the incident as heartbreaking, the politician popularly known as Atiku said he was short of words.
“Heartbreaking. Words fail me. The lives of our citizens should be worth much more than this. The rejig of the nation’s security architecture is long overdue. May their souls rest in peace and may their families be comforted,” he said in a Saturday tweet.
