Shehu Sani lists ‘two important tools’ Buhari’s new Chief of Staff needs

Shehu Sani, a former federal lawmaker, has listed two tools which Agboola Gambari, the new Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, will need.

Mr Gambari was on Wednesday officially appointed to succeed late Abba Kyari, the immediate past holder of the position who died of Coronavirus complications.

The late Kyari was described as one of the powerful members of the president’s kitchen cabinet. He was accused of interference on almost every government decisions and policies.

The new appointee attended the weekly Federal Executive Council FEC meeting today where his appointment was formally announced by Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).

Congratulating him on his new position, the former Kaduna Central representative at the 8th Senate advised Mr Gambari whom he referred to as his friend that it was time for him to wear boxing gloves and solicit for prayers.

“Congratulations to my friend Professor Ibrahim Gambari;Now you need more of Boxing gloves and prayers than face masks and hand gloves,” Mr Sani tweeted Wednesday afternoon.

Already, the new appointee has said he is answerable to only his principal whom he thanked for finding him worthy of manning the position.
