The Nigerian Senate on Wednesday passed the appropriation bill for next year.
This comes a day after the House of Representatives passed the budget proposal President Muhammadu Buhari presented to the joint session of the national assembly in October.
Mr Buhari had presented the proposal of N16.391 trillion but the green chamber increased it to N17.126 trillion by additional N735 billion.
Following the adoption of the recommendations of the report of Senate Committee on Appropriation, the red chamber passed the bill Wednesday afternoon.
