Sacked Kano commissioner recovers from Coronavirus

Muazu Magaji, the ousted commissioner of works in Kano State has recovered from Coronavirus disease.

Mr Magaji made this known in an update he posted on his Facebook page, Friday afternoon.

The former commissioner tested positive to the deadly virus three weeks ago and has since been receiving treatment of what he said started with symptoms of malaria.

“To the Glory of Allah SWT, today friday 22nd May and 29th Ramadan I have been confirmed Covid-19 Negative and discharged from Isolation center!” he said.

The former commissioner was booted out for allegedly rejoicing at the demise of Abba Kyari, the late Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari.

Mr Kyari who died of Coronavirus complications is reported to have contracted the pandemic disease abroad.
