Police begin probe into assassination of Senator’s son

The Kaduna Police Command says it has launched probe into the killing of Abdulkarim Ibn Na’Allah, a Nigerian pilot.

Mr Na’Allah is the son of former Deputy Senate Majority Leader and serving senator Bala Ibn Na’Allah representing Kebbi South at the red chamber.

The aviator was killed at his residence in Malali (GRA) residence, Kaduna North Local Government Area of the State.

Special adviser to the lawmaker, Garba Mohammed, who confirmed the incident, said the hoodlums entered the house through the ceiling and a security guard in the neighborhood raised the alarm when he found out that the gate of the building was left open.

Mudasiru Abdullahi, the state commissioner said he had directed investigation to commence so as to arrest the assailants who killed the 36-years-old first son of the Senator.

“I have directed that a full-scale investigation be carried out with a view to unravelling the identities of the culprits and bringing them to book,” police spokesman in the state, Mohammed Jalige, quoted the commissioner as saying in a statement.

“The report has it that the assassins forcibly gained access into the residence of the pilot at Umar Gwandu Road, Malali, Kaduna during the night hours, choked him to death in cold blood and made away with his Lexus SUV to an unknown destination,“ the police chief added.
