A rowdy session at the House of Representatives triggered an executive session on Thursday over the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB).
The two chambers at the National Assembly had recently passed the PIB but differed in their recommendations on the funds for host communities.
While the House of Representatives passed 5 percent, the Senate recommended 3 percent for host communities despite opposition by South-South senators.
While the red chamber has adopted the conference report on the controversial bill, TODAY POLITICS learnt the green chamber is expected to consider the report today.
