Pantami’s son returns home hours after kidnap by bandits

Alamin Pantami, the son of Isa Pantami, the minister of Digital Economy and Communications, has been found, hours after he was reportedly abducted by unknown gunmen nicknamed bandits in Bauchi State, Northern Nigeria.

The young lad who is living with his grandmother was said to have been kidnapped but was later freed by his abductors close to a police check point within the state, reports Daily Trust.

“We just left the house; he is back home now. He was found in Dambam, where his abductors dropped him,” the national daily quoted a source in the know as saying. “They dropped him at a checkpoint and from there, he was brought home.”
