Oshiomhole’s pictures removed from APC banners

The pictures of Adams Oshiomhole, the embattled national chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has been removed from the party’s national secretariat.

Prior to the dispute currently rocking the ruling party, the picture of the former Edo State governor and that of President Muhammadu Buhari are usually placed on the billboard of the party located at the entrance of its headquarters.

But on Thursday, the banners bearing the pictures were removed and replaced with the one containing only that of the president.

A Federal High Court in Abuja had suspended the embattled APC helmsman last week. However, another court of equal jurisdiction sitting in Kano State, overruled the suspension which has now left the party factionalised.

Since the latest development, Oshiomhole has not been able to gain access to his office.
