Oshiomhole replies comment on ‘peace of mind’

Adams Oshiomhole, the esrtwhile national chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has replied one of his followers who claimed the former Edo governor has not had peace of mind since booted from office.

Mr Oshiomhole who had been battling to hold on to his position finally lost it last month in the battle that began last year. He was suspended at his ward in Edo State and forces in the party who do not want him at the helm of affairs leveraged on that to demand that he step aside.

A court order granting the request of his critics was finally upheld at the Appeal Court after a lower court suspended him. Political analyst are also citing his differences with his state governor, Godwin Obaseki, as reason for his dethronement.

Last week, the National Working Committee (NWC) led by him was dissolved by the National Executive Council (NEC) of the APC. Oshiomhole said he has accepted the development in good faith and continued pledging his loyalty to the party.

Tweeting on Wednesday, he said all that matters, after all, is peace of mind.

“Peace of mind is all that matters,” the former governor tweeted. Moments later, one of his followers on the micro blogging site differed to the contrary.

“Oga talk true you don’t have peace of mind,” the Twitter user said. Hours later Oshiomhole replied saying he indeed has peace of mind.
