Geoffrey Onyeama, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, has tested positive for Coronavirus disease.
Mr Onyeama disclosed this today in a statement posted on his social media accounts.
The minister, who at the time he announced his status said he was heading for self-isolation, added that his result came out positive after testing for the fourth time when he had one of the symptoms of the pandemic disease.
“Did my fourth Covid-19 test yesterday at the first sign of a throat irritation and unfortunately this time it came back positive,” Onyeama disclosed.
“That is life! Win some lose some. Heading for isolation in a health facility and praying for the best,” he added.
