Iyiola Omisore, the 2018 governorship candidate of the opposition Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Osun State has defected to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
Mr Omisore, a former deputy governor of the state who compromised and supported the APC after the election was declared inconclusive, formally joined the party today at Ward 6 in Ile-Ife where he registered and obtained his membership card.
