Nnamdi Kanu detained leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) has pleaded not guilty to the seven-count charge preferred against him by the federal government.
The President Muhammadu Buhari administration had amended its charges against the separatist leader including accusing him of insulting the Nigerian and inciting his followers to do same.
When the charges were read to him on Thursday, Mr Kanu pleaded not guilty to the charges which also bordered on treasonable felony and terrorism.
He was brought to the court by the State Security Service (SSS).
