A Nigerian has tested positive to Coronavirus, a zoonotic disease which originated from China.
The minister of health, Osagie Ehanire, made this known on Monday in Edo State. He said the patient is one of those who met with the Italian who brought the disease into the country.
Mr Osagie assured Nigerians that the situation is under control.
The patient said to have been in isolation in the last two weeks, is now under quarantine. The minister added that the coronavirus case tested positive on March 8.
