Nigeria records 354 new COVID-19 cases

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC has announced the confirmation of 354 fresh Coronavirus disease infections in the country.

The disease agency made this known in its latest daily data published Thursday night. The report also said 265 patients recovered from the deadly virus while 3 fresh fatalities were recorded nationwide.

The new figure brings the total number of confirmed cases to 45,244 out of which 32,430 have been treated and discharged while the death toll increased to 930 in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The 354 new cases are reported from 17 states- FCT (78), Lagos (76), Kaduna (23), Ebonyi (19), Oyo (18), Nasarawa (17), Rivers (17), Delta (16), Kwara (15), Akwa Ibom (13), Edo (12), Ogun (12), Plateau (11), Kano (9), Bauchi (6), Borno (6) and Ekiti (6).
