The Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC has announced the confirmation of 304 fresh cases of the Coronavirus disease infections.
The disease agency made this known in its latest daily data published Sunday night which also showed that in the past 24 hours, 221 patients recovered from the deadly virus while 5 deaths were recorded nationwide.
The new confirmed cases brings the total number of confirmed infections to 43,841 out of which 20308 have been treated and discharged while the death toll increased to 888 in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The 304 new cases are reported from 15 states- Lagos (81), FCT (39), Abia (31), Kaduna (24), Rivers (23), Plateau (16), Cross River (13), Ebonyi (12), Ondo (12) Ekiti (11), Edo (11), Benue (10), Nasarawa (10), Ogun (6) and Gombe (5).
