Nigeria confirms 387 new COVID-19 infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 387 fresh cases of Coronavirus disease in the country.

Also, in the last 24 hours, the disease agency in its latest data said 2 deaths occurred while 105 patients recovered from the deadly virus.

The new figure brings the number of confirmed cases to 9302 out of which 2697 cases have been discharged and overall death toll increased to 261 in 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The 387 new cases are reported from 14 states- Lagos(254), FCT(29), Jigawa(24), Edo(22), Oyo(15), Rivers(14),Kaduna(11), Borno(6), Kano(3), Plateau(2), Yobe(2), Gombe(2), Bauchi(2), Ondo(1).

A total of 58,726 samples have been tested so far while 6,344 are currently active confirmed cases nationwide.
