The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced the confirmation of 265 new cases of Coronavirus disease in the country.
Also, the latest statistics released Saturday evening shows that 167 patients recovered from the deadly virus while no death toll was recorded in the last 24 hours.
The new figure brings the total number of confirmed cases to 7526 out of which 2174 patients have been discharged with 221 deaths recorded in 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The 265 new cases are reported from 13 states:- Lagos(133), Oyo(34), Edo(28), Ogun(23), FCT(22), Plateau(6), Kaduna (5), Borno(3), Niger(3), Kwara(2), Bauchi(2), Anambra(2), Enugu(2).
So far, a total of 43,328 tests have been conducted in the affected states while 5,131 are active cases nationwide.
