Miyetti Allah accuses Sunday Igboho of razing down Fulani settlement in Ogun

The umbrella body of cattle breeders Miyetti Allah has again accused Sunday Adeyemo of instigating the raze down of Fulani settlement in Ogun community.

This is coming weeks after Mr Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho was accused of perpetuating similar onslaught against herdsmen in Igangan, Oyo State.

Mr Igboho, TODAY POLITICS reported, visited the South-West state yesterday to evict violent herdsmen often accused as arrowheads of criminal activities.

He said the state government invited him, a claim yet to be independently confirmed by TODAY POLITICS.

“They burnt the houses and that of Sarkin Fulani, Alhaji Adamu Oloru, located at Igua this [Monday] evening. They also set cattle market ablaze,” Politics Nigeria quoted Ogun state chairman of MACBAN, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Dende, as saying while addressing news men.

“We have been contacting the security agents, including the DSS, as we are aware that he is coming.

“We listened to the information on radio, we learnt that he was welcomed by the state government. We are helpless as we don’t have anybody to protect us. Many of our people are now scattered in the bush,” Mr Dende added.
