The Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami, has deactivated his Twitter handle on the micro-blogging site.
Mr Malami’s action comes days after wife of the president, Aisha Buhari, took similar action and deactivated her account on Twitter.
The federal government had barred Nigerians from using Twitter saying the platform threatens to continued existence of the country by being double standard after a tweet of Mr Buhari was deleted for obviously threatening genocide against the people of the South-East geo-political zone.
On Tuesday, @MalamiSan handle indicated it no longer exists when TODAY POLITICS checked Tuesday evening.
“This account doesn’t exist,” Twitter said.
