IPOB warns churches against allowing political campaigns, fixes beef consumption ban date

The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) has warned churches in South-East against allowing political campaigns during church services.

The warning was issued by Chika Edoziem, who heads the Directorate Of Service (DOS) arm of the secessionist group while broadcasting on Radio Biafra on Saturday.

Mr Edoziem cautioned authorities of Christian gathering not to allow politicians and political parties in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Anambra State to use their premises for campaign else they have themselves to blame in the “ongoing revolution.

The separatist chief also announced the ban of cow meat consumption in the South-East geo-political zone expected to take effect six months from today, October 9, 2021.

He advised the people of the Igbo predominant area to embark on animal husbandry by rearing “Efi Igbo” and goats for consumption when the ban takes effect.
