IPOB speaks on Ahmed Gulak’s assassination

The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) has reacted to the assassination of Ahmed Gulak, a former presidential aide to Goodluck Jonathan.

Mr Gulak was killed early Sunday morning, according to a police statement which blamed the All Progressive Congress (APC) for perambulating around without escorts.

In a statement by its spokesperson, Emma Powerful on Sunday, the Nnamdi Kanu leader led secessionist movement, said the killing has political lining and governor Hope Uzodinma and the APC should account for what happened to the politician.

“This is political assassination; we are not in the same party with Gulak,” Mr Powerful said. “Uzodinma and APC knows about Gulak’s death, we do not know anything about his movement, talk more of him being in the state. Nigerians believe this because they hate IPOB, Biafra.”
