The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the winner of Bayelsa governorship election.
The declaration of INEC is in compliance with the directive of the Supreme Court which sacked David Lyon, candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the November 16 election.
Diri Duoye, candidate of the PDP is now the governor-elect of the South-South state. The electoral body has present a certificate of return to the PDP candidate.
