Ibrahim Mohammad, has been sworn-in into office as the substantive Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN).
Mr Mohammad was sworn-in by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Council of State Chambers, Aso Villa, Abuja on Wednesday.
He was screened and confirmed by the Nigerian Senate at the instance of Mr Buhari who nominated him for the position.
The top jurist is the successor of ousted Walter Onnoghen, who was booted out weeks to the 2019 general election, for failing to declare some assets traced to him.
