Ibelegbo Chidimma, one of the clerics of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) abducted has disclosed the identity of those who kidnapped her.
Mrs Chidimma and other members of the Christian assembly were abducted at Ijebu Ode, while on their way to attend the church’s annual conference.
She was said to have been rescued by men of the Ogun State Police Command earlier on Saturday.
Disclosing the identity of her abductors, Chidimma said she was kidnapped by Fulani herdsmen.
The cleric made this known while delivering a testimony of how she escaped from the custody of the armed gunmen at the ongoing Minister’s Conference Saturday night.
On how she escaped, Chidimma said prayer saved her as she was praying that her captors should fall asleep and as soon as they did, she took to her heels.
Herdsmen are severally accused as arrowheads of insecurity bedeviling the nation, this is despite denial from them.
