Fani-Kayode: Tinubu Hospitalised Over Buhari’s Appointment

Bola Tinubu, national leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has been hospitalised over an appointment given to him by President Muhammadu Buhari.

A former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, made the claim on Thursday.

This is coming days after Tinubu accepted the appointment of Mr Buhari tasking him to take fully charge of his re-election campaign. The president is seeking a second term in office.

For Fani-Kayode, any appointment given to the APC Chieftain usually goes with a price, a claim POLITICS TIMES has found out to be untrue.

Last year on the day that Bola Tinubu was appointed Chairman of the APC Reconciliation Commitee,he lost his son. 3 days ago, on the day that he was appointed Chairman of Buhari’s Campaign Council, he slumped, collapsed and was rushed to the hospital where he remains till today,” the former minister tweeted on Thursday.

While Tinubu lost his son, Deji Tinubu, on Friday, January 26, 2018, theĀ  top official of the ruling party was appointed to lead APC’s reconciliatory team on Tuesday, February 6, 2018.

Although, POLITICS TIMES, at press time could not verify if Tinubu is hospitalised as claimed by the former minister, he recently stated why Nigerians should not elected Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as president.
