Fani-Kayode lists 3 Buhari’s achievements after 5 years as president

President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday marked five years in office since he took over the affairs of the nation.

Elected in 2015, Mr Buhari defeated an incumbent Goodluck Jonathan to clinch the position, after trying severally and failed. He was re-elected in 2019 for another term of four years.

As he reels out his achievements since he took over, critics are of the opinion that he has failed woefully. For instance, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said since he became president, there is nothing tangible the Nigerian leader has achieved.

Reiterating that narrative, Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Aviation Minister and chieftain of the opposition party listed 3 things he said the president has achieved since being on the saddle of leadership.

Mr Fani-Kayode, a staunch critic of the president was responding to Femi Adesina, presidential spokesman, who claimed that the coming of his principal saved the country from collapsing, said Mr Buhari came to steal, kill and destroy.

“Not so my friend! The emergence of Buhari in 2015 annihilated Nigeria & plunged her into darkness, death & destruction. He came to steal, kill & destroy & for the last 5 disastrous years that is all he has done,” the PDP chieftain said in a tweet Friday morning.
