Ex-presidential aspirant, Garba dumps YPP, rejoins APC

Adamu Garba, former presidential aspirant of the Young Progressive Party (YPP) has rejoined the All Progressive Congress (APC).

Mr Garba announced his return on Tuesday in a post on Twitter, saying the ruling party has addressed some of the concerns on why he dumped it.

“Yes, I am fully back to APC,” he tweeted. “I could do more harm to my country, Nigeria if I did not support a combination of a great strategist and a great tactician on a single ticket. It is BAT/Hashim that should take over all polling units in Nigeria come 2023. RE-DECAMPED!”

The controversial social media figure who sued Twitter and its founder, Jack Dorsey, for supporting the historic EndSARS protests in 2020, left the APC in May.

After realising over N83million from friends and supporters, he contested for the presidential ticket of the YPP but lost to Malik Ado-Ibrahim.

During the Twitter ban, he offered his app, Crowwe, as an alternative but bad reviews from Nigerians and allegations of plagiarising the terms and conditions of Spotify, yanked it off the Play Store.
