Enugu State has joined the league of states battling with Coronavirus cases in the country.
Two cases of the pandemic disease have been confirmed in the Southeast state by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) yesterday out of the 11 eleven new cases discovered which 8 was found in Lagos and 1 in Edo.
The new discovery pegged the country’s toll at 81 from the 70 it was earlier in the day. 78 are active cases while 3 have been discharged on account of testing negative with 1 death recorded.
For a breakdown of cases by states in real time, Lagos continues to lead with 52 cases followed by the Federal Capital Territory with 14, Ogun and Oyo 3 cases each, Edo, Bauchi and Enugu 2 cases each while Ekiti, Osun and Rivers have 1 case each.
