EFCC operatives lay siege at Supreme Court Justice Mary Odili’s residence

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have reportedly laid siege at the residence of Justice Mary Odili.

Mrs Odili, a Justice of the apex court, had her place of abode raided by agents of the anti-graft agency, Peoples Gazette reports.

The siege began Friday evening with operatives reportedly attempting to break into the Abuja residence.

Although the jurist was said to have told the invaders that she had no business with them, TODAY POLITICS could not Independently verify if the operation has anything to do with her husband’s recent case with the agency.

Peter Odili, her hubby, had last week floored the agency at the Supreme Court which ordered the release of his international passport.

Wilson Uwajaren, spokesman of the EFCC was not immediately reachable for comments as at press time.
