Despite FG’s outburst on deleted Tweet, Twitter deletes Buhari’s ‘genocidal’ video clip

Despite the outburst of the federal government over the deleted tweet of President Muhammadu Buhari, Twitter has again deleted a video clip where the Nigerian leader made comments deemed as genocidal by most Nigerians.

Mr Buhari had on Tuesday threatened to deploy his civil war experience in dealing with youths who were destroying infrastructures, particularly in the South-East.

Hours later, the social media giant deleted part of the president’s remarks after it was reported en masse by critics as inciting.

The federal government, while reacting, accused the micro-blogging platform of playing double standard by ignoring a similar tweets from Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB).

The video where Buhari made the threat though posted online through the official handle of the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, @NGRPresident, has now been deleted, TODAY POLITICS observed Thursday evening.
