COVID-19: Nigeria records 410 new infections

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced the confirmation of 410 new cases of the Coronavirus disease infections in the country.

In its daily data report published Tuesday night, the disease agency said 217 patients have recovered from the pandemic disease while 4 fatalities were recorded nationwide in the past 24 hours.

The new figure brings the total number of confirmed cases to 49,895, out of which 37,051 have been treated and discharged while the death toll increased to 981 in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The 410 new cases are reported from 16 states- Lagos (210), FCT (45), Ondo (30), Plateau (21), Edo (19), Ogun (16), Oyo (13), Nasarawa (12), Bauchi (11), Enugu (10), Kwara (7), Kaduna (6), Anambra (4), Ebonyi (3), Abia (2) and Rivers (1).
