COVID-19: Nigeria records 373 fresh infections

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced the confirmation of 373 fresh cases of Coronavirus disease infections in the country.

In its latest daily data published Thursday night, the disease agency said 366 patients have recovered from the deadly virus in the past 24 hours while 10 fatalities were recorded nationwide.

The new figure brings the total number of confirmed cases to 48,116, out of which 34,309 have been treated and discharged while the death toll increased to 966 in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The 373 new cases are reported from 20 states- Lagos(69), Osun(41), Kaduna(40), Oyo(40), FCT(35), Plateau(22), Rivers(19), Kano(17), Ondo(17), Ogun(15), Abia(14), Gombe(12), Imo(9), Enugu(7), Kwara(6), Delta(5), Niger(2), Borno(1), Bauchi(1) and Nasarawa(1).
